Why I Combine Focus, Action and Inspiration
My presentations combined deep understanding of personal growth with rich first hand experience from helping others in crisis. I tailor my material for the audience, directly addressing the chosen primary topic, whether it is dealing with personal crises, depression and grieving, personal productive and managing daily stress, or cultivating an enduring sense of well-being.
My goals are to give the audience a concrete plan of action, to show them how to build a deeper connection with themselves, and to inspire them with an understanding of the transformative rewards of personal growth.
The Essence Of Personal Growth
Personal growth is a set of innate skills. It happens continuously without effort or conscious thought. We can improve our skills and give conscious direction to our growth. How?
My presentations are built around a basic outline to answer why personal growth? and how do we grow?.
Why?
Personal growth quiets distress, elaborates our values and develops valuable intuitions about ourselves and the world around. In the process, we create who we are - the person we are proud of, have respect for and feel uplifted by.
How?
The first step is to develop a deep intuition about the essence of personal growth. As we learn and internalize this knowledge, the personal growth which happens without conscious effort happens more effectively. Understanding is a great prescription for day-to-day distress.
The second step is to practice. Practice develops the ability to control and direct our skills with purpose. It is an essential piece of converting knowledge to intuitive understanding. Practicing personal growth is personal growth.
The third step is to apply our skills to our tormenting memories and other aspects of personal distress. We challenge ourselves to the hard work of transforming our life’s harshest experiences.
